About the book Browse for a quick look It started as a blog on Facebook and then continued as a feature on the Birka Jazz website. Now it is a book called "Stockholms skivaffärer & skivbörsar – en 100-årig historia”. It's the first documentation of its kind, chronicles the entire history of the Stockholm record shops. About how they looked and about the people they are associated with, owners and employees. And a lot about the records they sold. The book is written in Swedish, with 300 pages and 400 illustrations. Author is Torbjörn Sörhuus, the founder of Birka Jazz. Below you’ll find a small selection of pictures from the book and here you can order the book PUB record store, early 1950s.
